I still remember I was still a little girl, when my father told me this tory. It's so beautiful that I can feel I am the girl that he was talking about. I always keep this story in my mind, and hope I can share it with as many as people one day. After I graduate from Academy of Art as a director, I think it may be the time to finally make it happen.
Different from other films I have been directed, one special thing about this piece of short is how simple and sweet it is. In 15 minutes, it tells a heartwarming and beautiful story about the importance of confidence. Sandra, an 8 years old girl with Gold hair, is very shy and always stay alone. One day, her mother ask her go to buy some soy sauce. Sandra is afraid to go by herself. On her way back to home, she sees a beautiful butterfly, and chases it. Sandra ends up in a beautiful garden. She meets an kind old man, Mr. Ted. Ted gives her a little flower, and tells her that this magical flower can make her become the most beautiful girl in the world. Sandra never feel so confident with this magical flower on her head. People who used to don't like her are looking at her very differently. She also has the courage to play with other kids. While Sandra thinking that it's the flower brings her the beauty, it turns out that it is her confidence.
